5 Days Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Merzouga Sahara Desert

After breakfast in your hotel/Riad, we will pick you up and start travelling towards Merzouga sahara desert, through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be Ifrane, known as the switezland of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have a memoriable photos. After that we will head towards Azrou to see the monkeys in the cedar forest which will keep you amused. We Continue to Midelt for a lunch break. Later you will have a stop for pictures in the Ziz valley panoramic view. The road continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud famous with fossils and dates. When you arrive in Merzouga desert, with help of a local professional, you will ride your camels and head off into the sahara for a wonderful sunset in the middle of the desert dunes before reaching the camp where you will spend your night..

The plan of the day will be an adventure to explore the Sahara desert and its golden dunes. It will start by visiting Berber nomads in their tents to have a cup of tea with them and to know more about their way of living. Then we will head to Khamliya village for the Gnaoua heritage music performance. Lunch will be special for today, because you will taste one of the famous local meals which is “Berber Pizza” with Moroccan tea 'Berber Wiskey'. After lunch we will visit the Palm Oases of Hassi Elbid before returning to your Overnight place.
NB: In this day you will have the choice between; spending another night in the desert camp or in a 3/4 stars hotel.

Early morning the camp crew will wake you up to enjoy the sunrise, one of the best moments in the Sahara Desert. After breakfast we will leave Merzouga desert towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its wonderful Canyon views while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne dades and stopping along the road to enjoy the panoramic views of dades valley. Then make your way to the hotel for overnight.

After breakfast in your hotel in Dades valley, the journey will start with a walking tour along the river to explore the beauty of the valley on the one hand, and then to learn more about berber life, traditions and culture on the other. After that we will drive toward Ouarzazate the city known as "Hollywood of Africa", but before we will have a break in the Rose valley for coffee or moroccan mint tea. In Ouarzazate you will have time to visit Taourirt kasbah and Atlas Studio before having lunch break. From Ouarzazate we will drive to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we will have free time to explore the Kasbah and its old Moroccan Berber architecture,the Kasbah considered centuries ago as a passage point for commercial caravans between Sub-Saharan Africa and Marrakech, at the present time it’s a destination for international movies shootings such as Gladiator, Prince of Persia, Lawrence of Arabia, game of thrones season 3 and more others. overnight in Ait Benhaddou village.

On the last day of our tour, we will start after breakfast from Ait Benhaddou to Marrakech, passing through the Ounila valley and enjoying its picturesque views and villages that adorn the sides of the valley until we reach the Kasbah Telouat where we will stop to visit it. After that our journey continues through the famous Tizi N'tichka pass, where we will stop on the high Atlas mountains to take some pictures before continuing the trip to Marrakech.
